Born and raised in South Africa, Leigh brings with her an "eyes wide open" view of life. She has worked in management positions in top-rated hotels in South Africa, owned an event planning and catering business, negotiated large-scale financial and gold mining rights deals, managed human resources and financial services on two continents. This range of experience makes her uniquely equipped for bringing profitable and successful cultural events to a stage near you.

Leigh arrived in America in 1998, and made a home base in Eugene, Oregon, USA, almost immediately falling into public radio.  She presented music shows “Women In Music” from 1998 until 2002 and “New World” from 2000 until 2006 on KRVM 91.9fm; “Africa Digest”, a weekly news show on KWVA 88.1fm for over a year, and currently, after a 2 year break in Los Angeles, a regular slot with “Planet Soup” with the occasional stint on "Radio Whiteaker" on KWVA .

During this time, Leigh also organized the successful “BeneFest” - an all-day benefit concert at Eugene's Civic Stadium for KRVM which featured two stages and more than 10 local music acts. She has also arranged and catered annual gatherings for local South Africans, bringing the experience gained from her extensive background in event planning and catering to South Africans and Americans in Oregon.

Leigh has spent her time on public radio stations, using her knowledge of the world to educate and entertain and has set her sights on bringing the world together through music and dance in creative on-stage collaborations. From listener response, it became clear that there is a need and desire in America for a closer relationship with other cultures around the world. People are feeling a definite desire to get closer, to understand and to share.
